Antibiotic Activities Of Some Dermatophytes

In this experiment a L study, the antimicrobial, pharmacodynamic and toxicological activities of then-butanol extract of Tri~hophyton violaceum filterate, were investigated.The obtained results are summarized as follow 1. lJ1itE:hS!2:hsbIn this investigation the antimicrobial activities of Trichophyton violacewnextract against various spe-cie s of ba cteria, yeasts, moulds and d arma tophytes, were studied Lnz vf, troand in vivo.The antibacterial effects of the extract were performed, using the plate agar di lution method, gut-ter technique and the disc inhibition zone. Its antifungal eff ect was carried out using the crowdedplate method and t re test tube method.Therapeutic application of Trichophyton violaceum extract on experimentally induced infected wounds withpyogenic b6~ter1a was performed in guinea pigs. The prophylactic activity of the extradt waS tested alsoin mature mice.
