Abstract:
A large scale biochemical characterization studieson Mycoplasma and Acholeplasma reference seed culturesof bovine and avian origins. According to the biochemical pattern, avianMyooplasma species were classified into three biogroups :Glucose-positive / arginine-ngeative Glucose-negative / arginine-positive andGlucose-positive / arginine-positive.On the other hand, bovine Mycoplasma species were. also differentiated into three biogroups :Glucose-positive / arginine-negative Glucose-negative / arginine-positive andGlucose-negative / arginine-negative. 2. Acholeplasma species were also classified biochemi-cally into three hiogroup according to the results ofAesculin and arbutin hydrolysis vizAesculin and arbutin positive (!. axanthum),
