Abstract:
Aspergillus flavus (source of aflatoxin) was isolst. ed from 108 samples of poultry rations and did not isolat-ed from litter samples taken from poultry far.m. Two experlme,Bts. Ylere”’performed llis v!o.rk: 1. The f.1.,rf!teer1menttFifty six ducklings weof A. flavus filtrate orally by using small rubber tube. Macroscopically; livers, lungs. brains and kidneys werecongested. Mioroscopically; congestion, focal areas of hemo- rrhages, degenerative ohange, necrosis of the 1iversr kidneys, lungs and brains were seen, but necrotic ohangeswere not evident in either lungs nor brains. 2.
