Responses of rats exposed to dieldrin containing diet for six months

Abstract:
Blood samples were taken to study effect of chronictoxicity of dieldrin on blood picture, ano levels ofsome biochemical constituents in the serum. The insecticide exerts its action on~.N.S. This wes manifested by irritability tremors foll-owed by toxic and clonic convulsion. At the terminal stageof experiment, 108s of body weight ,- exhaustion, weaknessend emaciation.
