Abstract:
In Senbellawin center (Sharkia Povin ,882 living Abo-El-Shokok village fattening calves aged between 6-24 months, of which 475 cow calves and 407 buffaloe claves, were examined (G.1. ) nematodefor detection of gastrointestinal infestation and haematologicExamination revealed of faecal samples that infestation rate in cow calves was 30.9 % and inbuffaloe calves was 26.5 %. Infestation rate with gastrointestinal nematodes in Dakahlia is lower .t h an in Sharkia (25.529.2) and( 27.8 ,33.2) in cow and buffaloe calves respectively.Seven species of gastrointestinal nematode worms were detected in this study as follow Toxocara vitulorum (1.9 % and 7.6 %), Trichostrongylus sp.
