Liver Function In Some Diseases In Camels

This study appeared the effect of some camel diseases including acute, chronic trypanosomiasis, fi lariasis, mange, dieteti c, parasi ti c diarrhoea andimpaction on liver function tests, including estima- tion tes ts of protein, carbohydrate and fa t meta-bolisms’ efficianqr of bile excretion and estimation of liver enzymes of (110) Egyptian camels belonged todifferent locali ties of Sharkia province and those presented to the out patient clinic of the f’a cu I tyof veterinary medicine Zagazig University as well as those belonged to Military border, Egyptian army.Representative samples of faeces, blood and skin scrapings were obtained A ccording to the clinical signs and examination of each case. The camelswere classified as:-Grop I : including control animals.Twenty apparently normal camels.Group 11 : Including diseased animals.(a) Teh camels diseased with acute trypano- somiasis.(b) Fifteen camels diseased wi th chronic try-panosomiasis.
