Abstract:
Two hundred and fifty samples of raw milk, cream, ice- cream, laban raieb and laban khud (50 of each) were col le- cted from different localities in Cairo and Giza Governor-ates for enumeration and isolation of staphylococci Staphylococcus aureusthermonuclease production andsensitivity of coagulase positive strains to some chemo-theraputic drugs.1- Isolation and enumeration of, staphylococci. Staphylococci and Staphylococcus aureus could bedetected in 100% , 52% ; 100% , 32% ; 88%, 62% ~ 82% . 30%laban raieb and laban khud samples respectively.and 34% 22% of examined raw milk, cream, ice-cream, The mean counts/ml. of staphylococci and staph. aureus
