Studies On Metabolic Profile Test In Cattle And Its Relation To Infertility

The present investigation was conducted on 210 COVISa.gening 3-5 y aar s and calved once or twi c e ,’fhese animals vrere collected from different an ime.L farmsbelonging to Fayoum province and suffered from certain inf-ertility problems. For each animal rectal palpation was per-formed tw i.c e Ly at 7-10 days interval to give ao o ur a t e dmag-nosis for t~e concli tion of the ovar-i e s , An.i.me.Ls \’ii th complet-ely static ovaries after two rectal palpation were considere~to suffer from-ovarian inactivity.Thus the animals were divided into the follovring groups:Group Iconsist of 120 fertile COV/S (normal cycling cows).Group 11:consist of 90 infertile cows (inactive ovaries)among them 68 COV!S were appar en tly normal heal th cows, whilethe remaining animals 22 cows had disturbed general healthcondition.
