Abstract:
Pesticide chemicals have introduced many problemsof particular importance to the public health,agricul ture and animal husbandry. They differ so muchin their toxicity to animals, birds and human kind.The recurrent and hazard use of the different typesof insecticides specially at summer season all• overthe Egyptian Provinces, lead to several acute suddenloss or delayed syndroms. This ref lect our attentionto throw the lights and clarify the acute toxic anddelayed effects of some of the nowadays widely usedinsecticides in Egypt. Bolstar (organophosphorusinsecticide), Carbaryl (carbamate insecticide) andSumicidin (Pyz e t hr o i.d insecticide) were chosen asa members of the three major and widely used groupsof insecticides all over the world.Eighty chickens fifty days old were used for,haematological, serum cholinesterase determination,histopathological studies and residual detection.Twenty chickens were divided into two groups eachof ten. The first group administered 1/10 LDSO doseof Bolstar (6. S mg/kg) orally five times at two weeksintervals. The second groups served as control.Thirty chickens were divided into three equalgroups, the first and second groups administered Carbaryl
