Abstract:
During ,the last years the herbicides (weed-kille~s) were used commercially on a large scale. Theirapplication increased by introduction of many new comp-ounds. These newly produced organic herbicides caused arevolution in agricultlD.’e all over the world. Theyoffered a specific eradicating agent against any weedin almost any crop.from these orgaijic herbicides is the ”Triazine”group, one of the members of which is the compoundtfGesaprim” (Atrazine).The present investigation deals with the studyof different aspects of the action of this compound.Balady rabbits were used throughout all this study.The following aspects were investigated throughoutthis study;Part I: Acute toxicity:In this part, estima tion of LDSO’ was carried outaccording to the method of We ill (1952), it was foundto be (3.,32 g/kgm.
