Abstract:
. Work was carried on 75 foetuses of different lengths and ages collected from cairo sl~ughter house.Their C_V.R. length was measured and their ages were determined according to the equation given b~ ABDEL RAOUFand EL-NAGGAR ( 1968 , 1970 ) in the buffalo. Ip addition , 10 water buffaloes were collected fromthe Faculty clinicfree from any diease o~ deformity. inaddition , other two spinal cords were carfully removedfrom slaughtered buffaloes and slices were taken from diff-erent segments of the cord and stained with Trnill?SETT techni-que (1959) to reveal the shape and extent of th~ gray andwhite mater. The vertebral canal was opened and tbe spinal meningeswere carfully examined pre and postnatelly. The material were freshly dissected then f~rmalinepr~served. The morphological feature~ of the spinal cord , spinalnerves and ganglia were carfully inspected.
