Abstract:
The effects of therapeutic and double therapeutic doses of Buul.etanide; Dihydroergotoxine and Dexernat hasone on renal blood flow in relation to blood pressure were investigatedin anaesthetised dogs. Moreover, the effect of double ther- apeutic doses werE testEd on hepat Le blood flow and glomer- ular filtration r-at e , The blood flow d e t e rmf.n at Lon s wereproceeded by the d Lr sc t collection method. Whi~le the glom-erular filtration rate was measured by endogenous creatinine clearance.1- Effects of bumc t anide:BumetanidG in doses of 50 and ioo pg/kg decrEased the mean arterial blood p re saure untill it reached 80 + .2 and- 77.2 ± 3% respectively of the pretreatment levels after onehour. Renal blood. flow was decreased by the small dose, wh i.Lethe largE dose caused a transient decrease followed by anincrease for the noxt 20 min C:JJ.d further declined the blood flow untill it reached 49.3 + 2.2% of control levele.fter one hour. The hepatic blood flow showed a significant decrease
