Abstract:
A survey on the frequenoy of hydatid disease in camols, sheep, oows, buffaloes and pigs slnughtered inCairo abattoir from January 1980 to Jon~ 1981, revealed that :- The pereentages of infestation with hydatid oysts in ocmels, sh~GP, pigs , cows and b~fnloes attained 31.0 % •1.33 %, 4.62/% and 0.0 and 0.0 respeotively. In camel~ & pigs the lungs were the moin predilectionsites of hydotid cyst, but in sheep the liv~r was the mos~ infested orean..l o.uitlo.ls whore it wasin camels, oval in sheep and z’ounded in pig. the oollectod cyst were (7.8 X5 m) in camel, (3.3 X 2.8 X 10.0 mm) in sheep and .
