Abstract:
Five adult animal.s of the speoies Oamelus dromedarius aged between 1-12 years in addition to ten footuses (O.V.R6~123 cm) of camel were used for the desoription of muscles, vascularization and innervation of the tho,racic wall. of the oamel. The blood vessels were injeoted prior to disseoti.with coloured lQtex.~ The injection mass of arteries and veins were carried through .A... carotis communis and V,.’jugularis externn,respective13.The morphology and topograph,y of the musoles of the thoraoio wall of the camel as well as their attachmentswere described •.The formation and course of various arteries and veinsin the th~aoic wall ,’0 were described~The course and distribution of the nerves were examined and compared with the related results obtained by preceedingauthors.•The results obtained were illustrated by fourteen figures and disousaed with those of the camel and othe~dcme at Lc c.nimnls, besides one figure, showing the number of camels in Egjpt from, 1973 to 1978,.
