Abstract:
In the present work, the neuromuscular blocking activity o hexachlorophene, niclofolan, nitroxynil and rafoxanide was studied. The relation between this activity and their mode of action on Fasciola gigantica worms was also investigated. In addition, the mature FaSCiola gigantica worms and its cholinesterase activity were investigated. In the present investigation a new modified method for, recording the normal twitches of the muscles of the upper lip and the effects of these fascioli~idal drugs upon them was involved. For this method, anaesthetised horses, dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs and rats were used. The obtained results are summarized I.
