Abstract:
1) The incidence of Marek’s disease herpesvirus (MDHV) infection among commercial broiler and egg production chicken flocks reared intensively in various localities was studied by serological and virological procedures. The results achieved showed the ubiTesting feathers and blood samples collected simult-• aneously from 50 broiler birds of another natch at 50 days of age revealed 36 reactors for MDHV antigen and none had precipi tins.
