Abstract:
Camels experimentally inoculated with virulent type 1 virus and the locally isolated type 9 (camel strains) virus showed febrile reaction which started on the 10 th day post infection. Pyrexia was of longer period in case of camel strain virus than in caswhen CFT, PHAT, SPACE, and ~~T were aerially applied. However, a marked antibody response and a higher level of total globulins and total immunoglobulins were observed in sera of camel 2 than in sera of camel 1 when they were subjected to indirect ELISA, photometric determination of total globulins and SST t
