Abstract:
One huncircd and four Balady sheep of both sexes were used in the present investigation. The aniYlals were divided into four grou~s: Group I consisted of 42 clinically normalBalady sheep, Group 11 of 33 sheep showing respiratory mffi1i-festations, Group 111 of 18 sheep affected wt th tympany andGroup IV of 11 sheep showing diarrhea.~vo venous blood samples were taken from each animal.The first was heparinized blood for the estimation of pH, PC02, P02, HC03-, BE,-rC02, SBE, SBC, SAT, Hb and PCV.
