Detection of foot and mouth disease virus in tissues from infected animals

1- Six sheep, six goats and 3 calves were used in this study for the purpose of detection, isolation and identification of FMDV in its tissues after experimental infection with FMDV, strain 0/2/72-Egypt. The animals after infection were slaughtered at var2- The animals before infection were clinically and apparently healthy and does notshow any signs of FMD or other other infections diseases.
