Abstract:
Hundred fattened cattle were selected according to hyperthermia, enlargement of superficial lYmph nodes,congestion of visible mucous membranes and presence ofticks in its e-, prefer able si tes on the animal bodies.After slaughtering the animals, samples from Lymph nodes (prescapular, prefemural, and parotid), spleen, liver and bone-marrow were taken for the histopathological studies.Blood samples were taken for the haematological studies.Important macroscopical observat~ons in the collected samples were swelling of the lymph nodes, the spleen wasfirm in consistancy and enlarged with dark red protruded focal areas. Pale white to yellowish foci were distributed habhazardly on the surface- of the liver.The examination of the blood films and tissue smears revealed 45 out of the 100 collected cases, which containedKoch’s blue bodies in the lYmphocytes of both blood films
