Abstract:
In the present study it was decided to investigate the possible role played by non steroidal serum albu- mins in r-e gu La-t i ng the synthesis, secretions and tran-sport of gonedotropins during the estrous cycle of rats. For this purpose the following was performed:1- Determination of LH and FSH contents of the pituitary and serum of rats during seven stages of 5-day estrouscyc le.2- Determination of protein binding capacity by 2 methods;the first is direct neutralization in which serum sample being cleared from non-specific agglutinins and tested against varying dilutions of the specific homologus hor- mone, the second by indirectdifference between the first and the second reading was calculated.3- the effect of non-steroidal albumin fractions of large and small molecular sizes (ob~ained from female rats
