Abstract:
1. Digestibility trials have been carried on fourFresian bulls, to determine the digestion coefficientof the common Egyptian feeds used for oattle.2. The common Egyptian feedingstuffs used in thesetrials were Berseem hay, processed pellets, Ricestraw and green Berseem (Trifolium alexanderium) atdifferent stages of growth.J. Seven dieestibility trials were carried on the fourPr-e aLan bulls which were previously tested to be.free from blood and internal parasites these trialswere used with the different feedingstuffs.4. A significant possitive correlation was found to bebetween crude protein percentage and digestion coeffi-cient of crude fiber.5. ,A significant possi ti ve correlation was found betweencrude fiber percentage and digestion coefficient ofcrude protein.6. A significant negative correlation was found betweencrude protein percentage and its digestion coefficient.7. A significant negative correlation was found betweencrude fiber percentage and its digestion ooefficient •
