Abstract:
The present study was designed to study: Firstly.1. a natural outbreak. ot N ewoastle disease amongquail on Qua.illa faxm in Giza in April 1981 .•Secondly: Effect of virus dosep the ro¥te of infection and ’age of qUail on the susoeptibility of qUail to a quail strain of yelogenic viscerotropic Newcastle disease virus.Thirdly .. Contact transnissioh of velagenic v.Lsc erot- ropicNewcastle disease virus from infected quail to healthy chickens and vice versaThe results.sachived can be suhnerized as follows:1. The outbreak strated in April 1981 and lasted one month.
