Abstract:
Seriological survay on 1102 serum samples collecte.dfrom chicken flocks were tested for detection ofantibodies against viral respiratory diseases uSlnghe.agp.agglutination inhibition and agar g:el-precipit- ation testeso-Paramyxovirus -2 , -3 , -4 , -6 ”~_ -7 HI-antibodies ,were detected for the first time in Egypt with incidenceof 24.3 J 74.9 , 18.9 , 9.3 and 15.1 per cent,respectively. -PrecipitRting antibodies against Newcastle disease,Infectious Bronchitis,CELO-virus and Infectious Lary- ngotracheitis were detected in rates of 24.5 , 25.9 ,19.8 and 14.3 ) and the infection in incidence of 24.5 , 19.8 ,1~.8 and 1106 per cent, respectively.~ewcastle disease was not reported as a sole infection in the examined chicken flocks. 2.The value of Newcastle disease emErgency vaccinationusing different routes , vaccines and at different intervals from infection was studied.
