The present study aimed to investigate the antienic octi- vity and cross reactions of buffalo spermatozoa and seminal plasa,to demonstrate the possible antigenic modificationsduring epididymal sperm maturation and to find out how for theentibodmes produced against semen of bulls and buffalo bullswould influence the motility, liveability and metebolic acti-vity of spermatozoa.Yor this purpose antibodies were raised in rabbits ags Lns t :1- Five-times wPshed ejaculated buffalo spermatozoa.2T Buffalo seminal plasma.J- Five times washed spermatozoa obtained from thh major threeepididymal segments: caput, corpus and cauda epididymidis.4- Whole semen collected from buffalo bulls.5- Whole semen collected from Friesian bulls. To pre)are the dnti.3ers, in initidl dose of 1ml of thetigen e muLs LfLe d wi tf •.Lrn.L offre und t s c o np l e t e a d j ur-an tinjected intr~mudculdrly into each of two rabbitao This doaeWd,3 re;eC!teu after 14 ddy U[1~J f o Ll.owe d up wi th two Ln t raperitone~l injecticns of Iml of antigen (no-ddjuyant ) atweekly interv~ls.
