Abstract:
Eighty four right and left kidneys of one-humped camels were used in tho course of this investigation.The micromphological and histochehemical studies revealed the following:ANATOMI.CAL FINDDIGS:A. Renal .Qel vis:1.The one-humped camel has a crest-type uniloba-ted kidney with smooth outer surface.2.The ronal pelvis consisted of two parts, the proper or central part and the associated specialized fornices.3.The proper renal pelVis, which is a crescen- tic cavity emanates from the ureter without previous fUnnBl-shaped portion of the terminal part of the ureter.4.There wore 24 specialized fornicGs on both aspcct s o:f the kidney’.
