Rabies Related Viruses in Egypt

A survey on the antibodies against rabies and rabies-like viruses was carried out in Egypt. 2445 samples of human, animal, bird und rodents sera \vere investigated against Obodhiang virus and 773 sera against rabies, MokQla and Lagos bat viruses. Only oneCamel sera showed the highest positive per centamon t .t ho investigated animal sera 12% to ubodhiangviral antigen.In dog, 4.2% of the sera were positive to Obodhiangviral antigen. Habies viru.s was isolated from two dogbrains.
