Two field strains of FMDV disignated 63/70 and 2/72 bad been ~_S01ated, typed and sub typec.- Typing of both strains bad been done uSing CFT andtbe results revealed that botb strains were typed as ”0” type of FllLV.Strain °1/2/72 appeared to be more easily adaptable in tissue culture than strain °1/63/70.
