Abstract:
The ovaries of 339 nongravid sexual organs of Egyptian buffaloes were ”used in the course of this study!They were taken at different phases of the estrous eycle •Macroscopioal examination was carried out on 245 of them •.JMaterials for histological studies were collected from53 oases only~”_.:lie histochemical studies were done, using paraffin andfreezing sections of 41 ovaries.” The resuJ:ts of this work are summarized as l.’?ollows:-I J ANA.TOMI.CAL FllIDIN:GpI,(1) The average dimensions of the ovaries during the different phases of the cycle were statisticallycomputed as shown in Tr,ble (11).” (2) The average dimenstions of the corpora lutea areshown in’Table (Ill).
