Abstract:
D8tailGd anatomical studies of the whole lymph nodes of the buffalo present in Egypt has been investigatedon 10 adult animals, 20 heads as well as 20 slink calves. The available lit~raturc conc8rning the lymph nodesof the buffalo and other domGstic animals arc rcview8d. Carc~ul dissLcti0n has r~veal~;d new anatomicalfindings which were consistent in all the spocimens investigated. Some interesting findings were compared withtheir corresponding features in othar domustic animals, specially the ox.Certain anatomical findings, however were peculiarto the presence and grouping of the lymph nodes of thebuffalo and ox, though they are species mates.
