Abstract:
We deait in our study with Naja nig~iaollis andButhus quinquestriatus as representatives of the mostcommon toxio venoms to our livestock in Egypt.They spread all over the desert and valley. Itappearrd of interest to investigate some 6speots of theirtoxici<ty, to compare the clinical picture observed, thepost mortem a ppear anc e of medioolegal importance, the dif-ference in mode of aotion, and causeo! death if any and tofind a neW method for treatment if possible.For this purpo ae our study includes four part’s:The first for ~etermination of the toxicity andsymptoms due to snake and scorpion venom in frogs andchickens, the second for the neuromuscular effect of snakeand scorpion venoms in frogs, as an exploration of themode of action;The third part for the effect of snake and scorpionvenoms on blood p~essure and respiration in dogs. Thefourth part deals with the post mortem, histopatho~ogicaland histochemical changes rue to snake and scorpion v enoms
