Abstract:
The aim of this study is to identify the sexin farm animals (sheep~ buffalo, canel and balady & freziancow) from =xam t nQ+;jJ\Y1 of their peripheral blood smears •Therefore sixty appar•ently healthy animals; so tnJJ.1 aand 30 :females from each species were used , Six smeazs.::’T’l” <’”’t:> 1 f3(./.::;cd and stained by the general laboratot’;1method (May-•GI’l.lTr.cwald-Giemsa stain), special stains forsex chromatin (Hematoxylin-biebrich scarlet-fast gre~nand Toluidine blue methods) and h.Ls b ochenri ca.L techniques(Feulgen, Methyl green”:”pyronin and Gallocyanin methods) .•Statistical analysis was carried out by using computerprogram which is excunad on (1905E ., I”G oL) compunez- ofScientific Computation Center, Cairo University 0The distribution of drumsticks ~ p Lanoc o rrvex , aes s i.Le’. nodules ~ tags and elubs in differentiftl count of 4-00 _leukocytes in different species of animals was investigated.It was found that the incidence of drumsticks in polymorpho-nuclear neutrophils of the female sheep, buffalo, camel andBalady.& Frezian cow, were 2l.49.12.61,30.0,19.52 and 78.38%,respectively, while in the eosinophils 11.43,18.31.
