Abstract:
Two hundred wild rats and mice of different speeies ware collected from rural, swampy and desert areas 1naddition to sone houses in Sharlda province during the period from May,1979 until the end of April. l980~The deteotable signs in rats infested with angiostronqyius inoluded tremors )of head and neek muscles, frequent u.rinatati~n and defecation. ptyalism,sweating. bloc! d3 l.acr1.m.ation, m1osis. unocnackouaness and photophebia.Other signs included weakness,, emaciation, loss of hair, cough and dyspnao were seen intenrots,Mao~scopicall~, oongestion and haemorrhuges ware een in the l.u.ngs, heart, kidneys, liver, spleen, stoLlCoh, tes.tllla and brain. The l.iver, heart and spleeninlnrgec1 in some rats.
