Abstract:
The oral LD50 of Basagran in Agcza strainfemale rats was fcund tc be (380 mg/kg B.W.).The clinical symptoms which appears 0nanimals during determinaticn 0f LD50 and th0seadministered 350 mg/K.g B.W. at 18 days of gesta-tion were skin rash on nose, mcuth, eyes, swellingat the maxilla of fore limb on the right side andtr~mors all ever the body.Organs from animals died during the LDSO~etermination were preserved in 10% I0rmaline and~iptepathological examination were carried cut.Examination revealed presence ef telangectasis inliver with coagulative necrosis cf the hepatic cell.Lung ahowe d ce dema in the p~ri vascular areas and air~lveoli lymphoid cell hyperplasia were noticed.o Lou dy swelling and cr-agu Lat f.ve necrosis in kidney.Is.chemic neural damage of purkinge cells in brain,diffuse gliosis in the white matter and perivasculargliosis were noticed.Distribution ef Basagran in different organswaS determined (in a group received )80 mg.Kg B.W.),
