Abstract:
Summary:- Since fish and shellfish are subjected to the risk ofcontamination with various pathogens Rither during theirpresenoe in their aquatio environments or afetr being harvestedfor marketing , this work was done to assess sanitary oonditionsof Tilapia nilotioa , Mugil cephalus , Sardine , Bivalvia andPrawn caught from Natural sources , Fresh , Brachish andMarine water •Samples of Tilapia nilotioa ,Mugil cephalus , Sardine ,Bivalvia and Prawn oolleotad ( 20 of each ) from differentmarkets were examined bacteriologioallyIncidence of the isolates were as follows :-Sample+ve sample -OrganismColiformEnterococoi V.P.
