Abstract:
Brucellosis is a major and common Zoonotic disease affecting cattle, buffaloes, sheep and goats as well ashuman beings. A total of 2724 blood samples were collec- ted from cattle (1234), buffaloes (165), sheep (1190) and goats (135) from various loca1iti6s at Behera Provinoe and subjected to the serological examination using the Rose bengal plate test and thethe tube-agglution test was found to be 5%, 4.1% and 1.2% in sheep, cattle and buffaloes and goats respectively were .consiered as suspicious.
