Abstract:
A total of 900 birds were collected from dead and alive chickens, turkeys and pigeons of different ages, breed and sexes. Samples taken from the crop scrapings and by crop swabs from alive chickens, intestinal mucosa and lungs were examined mycologically they were tested for pathogenicity in laboratory animals. The re-isolation purification and resolution of the organisms from the infected animals was proceeded.The incidence of total recovery rate was found to be in chickens, Candida albicans20,7% and othDetailed incidence revealed that Candida albicans which was incriminated as a cause of diseases in man and animals were recovered from different samples examined e.g. crop scrapings of dead chickens 18.8%, crop swabs of.
