Abstract:
The subject of this dissertation is to investigatesome physical and chemical alterations in semen samples of the friesian bulls before and after freezing for one day and also one monthA total of 72 fresh semen samples, first and second ejaculates were collected from six normal healthy andmature Friesian bulls habitat in Tanta Artificial Insemination Centre(Gharbia - Provinance).After evaluation of the semen volume, the preservative substance (EYC) was added to the semen, then the samplewas divided into 3 parts, the first subjected to analysis efore freezing and the other two portions were freezedfor one day and one month before analysis.The studied physical properties were the volume andwhile the chemical parameters for comparison included, total protein and protein fractions, fructose as well as alkaline and acid phosphatasesin the seminal .asma before and after freezing.
