Abstract:
The study of the nasal cavity was conducted on twentyfour buffalo heads, for gross anatomy and 8 for miero-morphological features.For macromorphological flushed with Wctrm normal saline then injected with formalin pn eno L and glycerine solution of 10, 2 & 1% respectively.Parc)’nedian sections, were obtained from 13 specimens an d +nr ee he ad s were used for transverse se ctions. Radio- graphs for Ductus nasolacrimali!] after its injection withbarium sulphate and latex was prepared.For micromorphOlogical studies , the specimens from different parts of OaTUlD nasi were collected immediatelyafter slaugntering and subjected to histological tecl1ni ques.’rne nomenClatures used dur~ng this study were that adopted by Nom1na Anatomica Veter~naria (1973) and itsannex (1975) whenever possible. However, other names wereapplied after HADAWI and FATEH EL-BAB (1974) and EL-AYAT ~ al.(1981).
