Abstract:
This investigation was planned to study the effectof newcastle infection with virulent virus strains andkomarov vaccine of Newcastle and cecal coccidiosis on blood and tissue ascorbic acid.”94” Dokki 4 birds of healthy one day old were obtained trom ~a.tC?hi~y and fed on unmedicated rations.The ascorbic acid of chicks infected by high virulent strain of Newcastle virus and caecel coccidiosis and vaccinated with komarov vaOcine was determined in the following samples.1)Whole Blood.2)Adrenal glands.3)Liver Tissu.4)Kidney Tissu€.~e following observations were recorded:1. The experimental infection with Newcastle disease .f high virulent virus strain after 3 days of infection.nduced highly signifioant increase of ascorbic acid in the .iver of ”Dokki 4’ chicks, but nonsignificant increase ofiscoz-bf.c acid. in other tissues (kidney and adrenals) and’hole blood.
