Studies On Unsoundness , Blemishes and `(Vices In Camels ( Camelus Dromedarius

The present investigation on 959 male camels.of 5-12 yeers old ,revealed that, four hundreds andeighty three male oamels of good conditions weremeasured to find out the standard features anddimensions of the sound one humped camels.(Camelusdromedarius).Their body points as well as some of theiravailable joints were measured and estimated.An experiment was performed in this work forestimation the body weight through abdomen contourparameter in twelve male adult camels of Abbadicamel and Beshari breeds.It was proved that, the formula used in thisexperiment can be used for estimation the weightof the camel, without any difficultls on ba Lance ,The other 476 male camels of fair conditionwere examined for unsoundness, blemishes and vices.
