Abstract:
Examination of 852 faecal s3mples of rabbits from different localities in Dakah I La Governorate , revealedinfection rate with coccidia reached to 57.3%.The se2sonal incidence of Eimeria species among rabbits VIas 76.50~b, 62.80%, 49.33% and 20. 33% during- ;Summer, Spring, Winter and Autumn se?sons respectively.Six species of Eimeria were detected in the exam- inea raboits ; one hepatc; E. stiedae and five intest- inal ; E. perforans, .media, . magna, . irresiduaand . exigua, witn the raticof 37.7%, 50.4%, 41.1%, respectively./ 31.4% 8 .• 29% and 11.1%Oocysts of E. stiedaewere ovoid21 to ellipsoidal in shape • Its wall is smooth , yellowish to orange incolour. The anterior end is narrower than the posterior one, flattened and conrain an indistinct micropyle.
