Abstract:
Two hundred kidneys were obtained from apparently heal thy male and female Halady goats (Capra h i.r-cua ) , Theshape, Le ng tn , wid t.n , tnickness and weight of each kidney were recorded. The goat kidney was smootn , pseudounipapillated,mul-tipyramidal kidney. In a hemisected kidney, the parenchym~ was formed of an outer , t n Ln , granular brownish dark layer oulla, Which formed outer and inner parts where the formerwas darker than the latter in its colouration • The inner medulla was wider than any of the cortex and outermedulla. Corrosion casts for the renal pelvis revealed thAt it belonged to the type II pelvis. The latter was formedof a central cavi ty and 14 s pe c La Li aed fornices wereeminated from the central cavi ty to the inner medullary structures (7 fornices towards each surface).
