Abstract:
incidence of surgical affections of udder and teats among all buff aloes a dmi tted to the surgery clinic duringthe period started from 1968 to 1972 v.Jas found to be 12.9%. Eighty-eight percent of the affe~ted animals had teat tr oub’l.es t whi le 12% showed udder aff e-cti ons , It is noticeable that high percentage of the teat and udder affections were infl~etabseason. Stenosis, obstruction, wounds and ulcers were among theteat affections, while haematomas and abscesses repre- Isented -mainly the udder affections. The survey done on 660 buffaloes from different farms and localities revealed that 24.5% had udder and teat affections, representing papillomata, wounds, stenosis
