Abstract:
The present work have daBled with the gross, histo-pathological ana histochemicel changes associated withvalvular endooarditis. Bacteriological identification of cases showing this disease was also made! Lccompanyinglesions in different orgDns in affected buffaloes were also reported. Out of total case (50 buffaloes) having lesions of endocarditis, 49 cases were found to be caused by bacteriaincludir.ga CDses Oorynobacterium pyogenes. cases Oorynebacterium bovis. cases Staphylococcus aureus.cases Streptococcus. cases E.coli.Only one oase was proved to be of mycotic origin, the causal organism was Candida albicans.
