Abstract:
Asurvey on paratyphoid infections in poultry farms was carriedout of 3908 samples of dead in shell embryos, cloocal swabs andFreshly dead birds,28 strains were isolated, the results of itsserological identification were S,..rissem (8), s...virchow(6).S.typhimurium (5),S.cukmere (5) and S.entertidis (4) the rateof isolation 0.716%.The highest rate of isolation was from freshly dead birdsfollowed by cIoocal swabs from living birds followed by dead inshell embryos. The preditlction site for salmonella isolation found to be yolksac, gallbladder, liver, intistine, heart while the isolates could beobtained from ceccum, spleen and lung of all examined birds. The examination of the pathoqenicity of the isolated strainsshown that pathogenic to one-day old chicks bypercentage,S. typhimurium (60%), S.entertidis (70%), S. v irchow(50%),S.rissen (45%), S.cukmere (45%).The usage of ISO standard 6579 technique for isolation andIdentification of the paratyphoid infections organisms is moredetectable. To study the effect of vaccination in controlling paratyphoidtype.Parasitological studies of the gastrointestinal tracts by faecal cultures, larval differentiation and worm differentiation, revealed the presence of different species of NeI’latoo.e worms related to the Family Trichostrongylidae together withliver fluke. Detailed study on the gross appearence. histo,]athologicaland histochemical changes lead us to classify the lesion micro-scopically into : 1- Fascioliasis.11- Granulomatous lesion.
