Abstract:
The spinal cords of 16 udult donkeys were exposed. The craniocuudal measurements mude were : The dorsal und ventral root attachment length, the dorsal und ventral interroot length and the ratio between the interroot length to the corressponding root attachment length have been recorded both dorsully and vThe characteristic pattern of the spinal cord segments were described regarding, the segment length, the trQnsverse and dorsoventral diameters, and the ratio between the dorsaland ventral root attachment lengths to the segment length. On the other hand, the topographic anatomical relat-ionships between the spinal cord segments and the skeletal landmarks were described including1- The relation of the spinal cord segment to the corres-ponding Corpus vertebrae.2- The relation of the spinousprocesses of the vertebrae to the corresponding segment.3- The relation of the transverse processes of the vertebrae to the corresponding segment.
