Abstract:
This work is designed to study the possible enUses of the haematuria and haemoglobinuria in cattle and buffaloes at Assiut P.t’ovince; The number of investigated cattle ”ere 51(21 males &30 ,iemales) and buffaloes were 91(36 males & 55f11l8S1es) • .Age ranged between one year up to 12 years. Bloodsamples (98) were collected from sick animals dole-the clinic ,Department of MedicLIl~, Assi,gt Univer- sity. Hospitalised patients in the Veterinary Medical centers the city of Assiut ’were~ also involved. Fourty four were collected from the local abattoris. The animalsfrom those with a history of urinary tract diseases or those during clinical and laboratory exa’llinatioll with!etectable haematu.r.ia or haemoglobinuria. .All samples were~ollected during the winter, spring and begining of summer seasons (1974 to 1976).C1ini~al exe.mination of animals were performed just the samples, with speasial reference to theexamination” The presence of any infectioussease Was also taken in consideration.
