Abstract:
Biocbeuical test were carriod out on blood and urine of 113 llongrel dogs.The result of these tests were corre- lated with the de~rec of kidney danage assessed by histo- pathological studies.Clinical exaoination was cQnducted before death with spe- cial attention to urinary systen~ Because the clinicalsiegns of renal failure were siLlilar, irrespective to underlying cause t it was difficult to establish the type of> renal lesion.Bcrun was analysed ’tor BUN. crehtinine, inorganiC phosphorus,total se.ruri cholcsterol, cc.Lc i.urr, sodiuu, potassiun and chloride.Urine analysis included the deternination of specific gravityand exaDination for casts and protein~The exanined dogs were Cilividsd into the following groups:Group IIncluded 98 sick patients, delivered to the olinic with histor,y of renal disorders.
