Abstract:
One thousand livers froLl slaughtered na.tive calves aging fron two Donths up to two years from both Cairo and Assiut abbatoirs were exa.mined One hundred and five livers were found showingdifferent patholoeical lesions. The percentage of liver affections was found to be about 10% Detailed study on the gross and histopathologicalfindin~s lead us to classify the lesions microscopically into:Dystrophic changea, II~ Izrf.Lammatior-y change s! Ill. A sporadic case of telangiectasis! Livers affected with dystrophic changes were identifiedaccording to the predoninant degenerative changes into twogroups!
